How it all began
Dr George Mayson is a trailblazer in the world of skincare.
With over 35 years of experience in cosmetic surgery, he’s been at the forefront of groundbreaking skin treatments.
Since founding his Sydney Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery Clinic in 1985, Dr Mayson has always been at the forefront of new treatments for ‘all things skin’.
In 1994, he was the first doctor to introduce the cosmetic use of Botox to Australia, he pioneered Laser Skin Resurfacing, and he introduced
the first lasers capable of removing tattoos without scarring.
Dr Mayson’s groundbreaking work earned him widespread recognition and frequent media coverage. He became a trusted expert voice in aesthetic medicine, featured regularly in magazines and newspapers, conducted regular talk-back segments on radio stations 2UE and 2GB, and appeared frequently on television programs including Channel 9’s Midday Show with Kerri-Anne Kennerley.
Dr Mayson’s reputation also made him highly sought after by patients seeking effective solutions for acne, sun damage, lines and wrinkles, and other skin concerns.
These patient requests prompted him to search for skincare products that could complement his in-clinic treatments. However, he soon became frustrated by the many products on the market that promised results but failed to deliver!
So, what did our famous 'Botox doctor' do?
Like any true innovator, Dr Mayson took matters into his own hands. He researched scientifically proven ingredients and created his own formulas centred on the powerful skin-rejevenating effects of glycolic acid.
The result was the creation of his two unique systems: the 3-Phase
Anti-Acne Program and the 3-Phase Skin Rejuvenation Program.
For many years, Dr Mayson prescribed his custom skincare formulations to patients and dispensed through their local pharmacies.
After retiring from clinical practice in 2021, former patients continued calling for repeat prescriptions — prompting him to finally make his proven formulas available to everyone.
Today, the Skin Rejuvenation Program and Anti-Acne Program are based on the same formulations he prescribed for decades, but now supported by a range of premium, Australian-made cleansers, serums, moisturisers, eye creams and sunscreen.
