HOW IT ALL BEGAN
With over 35 years of experience in cosmetic surgery, he’s been at the forefront of groundbreaking skin treatments.
Since founding his Sydney Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery Clinic in 1985, Dr George Mayson has always been at the forefront of new treatments for ‘all things skin’.
In 1994, he was the first doctor to introduce the cosmetic use of Botox into Australia. He also pioneered Laser Skin Resurfacing, and he introduced the first-ever lasers capable of removing tattoos without scarring.
His innovative work catapulted Dr Mayson into the media spotlight, earning him recognition as one of Australia’s top aesthetic doctors. He became a go-to expert, featuring in magazines and newspapers, and hosting regular cosmetic surgery talk-back sessions on radio stations 2UE, 2GB, and ABC.
