Glycolic acid is a naturally occurring alpha-hydroxy acid found in sugar cane, sugar beets, and pineapples. It has been extensively studied, tested, and reported as safe with no long-term side-effects.

Dr Mayson’s 3-Phase Anti-Acne Program was created by Dr Mayson 35+ years ago for his in-clinic patients wanting to clear their acne.
It's hero ingredient is glycolic acid — a naturally occurring alpha-hydroxy acid found in sugar cane and pineapples. Glycolic acid is one of the safest, most studied, and endorsed ingredients in modern skincare.
Although salicylic acid can also clear acne by unclogging blocked pores, Dr Mayson chose glycolic acid because salicylic acid can cause excessive dryness, irritation, and allergic reactions requiring medical attention.
Glycolic acid can deliver amazing skin transformations - but only when it's formulated correctly with the following three essential criteria!
1. a minimum concentration of free glycolic acid i.e without dilution or binding by other ingredients.
2. an optimal pH to activate the acid.
3. an efficient delivery system.

Apply at bedtime and leave on overnight.
Using a soft cosmetic pad, apply an even film of lotion to the whole face from the forehead hairline to just under the jawline.
Don’t be afraid to go onto the hairline or over the eyebrows - Dr Mayson’s Formula will not weaken your hair or cause it to fall out. Run the cotton pad over your eyebrows but avoid the upper eyelid.
When applying the lotion under the eyes, don’t go near eyelashes to avoid the lotion being flicked into the eye. If any lotion does accidentally enter the eye, flush it out immediately with plenty of water.
Don’t rub hard. Don’t over-apply and leave ‘pools’ of lotion on your skin. An even film of lotion works best. No need to rinse off the following morning.

Your first Maintenance Formula purchase unlocks 12 weeks after your Starter Program purchase, ensuring your skin is ready for the next phase of its transformation journey. Subsequent bottles can then be purchased at any time.
Important: Always order your next Maintenance Formula well in advance to avoid running out. Going without for more than 7 days may cause your skin to "de-acclimatise" to the glycolic acid and require you to restart the 3-Phase Program.
