Retinaldehyde - also known as Retinal - is the one-step-removed, immediate precursor to the active form of vitamin A, retinoic acid. It is regarded as one of the most effective cosmetic ingredients currently available to combat the signs of skin ageing – basically because it works like prescription vitamin A but without the latter’s side effects.

Antioxidants

Free radicals are unstable oxygen molecules that can damage cells. Antioxidants neutralise harmful, UV-induced free radicals on the skin surface known to be involved in premature skin ageing.

L-Carnitine

A naturally occurring amino-acid with sebum-regulating properties. Helps to improve skin barrier function and promote skin hydration.

Pat 2-3 pea size amounts onto skin of face and neck after cleansing.

Avoid getting into eyes.

IMPORTANT: Do not apply in the evenings if using Dr Mayson's Skin Rejuvenation Formula at bedtime as the serum will block its absorption. Instead, apply in the mornings after cleanser and before moisturiser.
